Role Description We are looking for a PhD Student in Thin-Film Solar Cells to join our laboratory (Laboratory for Photovoltaics and Solid State Physics) in Verona. In this full-time, on-site role, you will conduct in-depth research on thin-film solar cells, focusing on their fabrication, characterization and performance optimization. You will collaborate with an international and multidisciplinary research team and be involved in the preparation of scientific papers and presentation of results at conferences. This role requires a strong commitment to research and technological development in the renewable energy sector.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have knowledge in thin-film solar cell fabrication and characterization (Bachelor’s degree in physics, chemistry or electronic engineering)
Skills in scientific research, with particular attention to laboratory techniques (vacuum and chemical thin film deposition) and data analysis software (Origin, Scaps, etc.)
Experience in writing scientific papers and presenting research results is highly recommended.
Additional skills that may be beneficial include the ability to work in a team, good communication skills and a strong motivation towards technological innovation.
